Arduino Starter Kit
This is a complete starter kit for those wishing to start experimenting with Arduino. It has a wide variety of components needed to begin prototyping with the Arduino, an open source electronics prototyping platform for designers and hobbyists. The kit permits experimenting with digital and analog sensors, creating simple visual and audio responses, controlling battery-powered motors, and hacking toys and other electronics. It comes with a complete 100 page book that can be downloaded from the web. The components and the eBook are from Earthshine Design.
Beginners might also wish to obtain a copy of the book Getting Started with Arduino and/or follow instructions on the Arduino website. For those interested in a rapid introduction to Arduino there Arduino workshops run in many parts of the world. In the UK First Technology Transfer runs Arduino workshops for hobbyists, teachers and artists.
